Soussusvlei is where the largest sand dunes in the world are located; 400 meters sticks in my head as the tallest, but I could be wrong. This is one of the lesser ones. I could easily have removed the guy walking up at the top of the dune with Photoshop, but I left him there to give a sense of scale. This picture - this dune, that tree - is the subject matter of many a postcard. But I took this picture, so it's better than any postcard.
